In this compelling keynote, designed for business leaders and high achievers wishing to expand their influence, Caroline Ravenall – Sales Leadership draws on her own leadership experiences with Richard Branson and the Virgin Group together with 15 years of culture change experience to inspire audiences to lead with greater levels of authenticity, agility and courage in an ever changing, disruptive world.
The presentation explores the leaders’ role in building high performing business contexts by owning their relationship with power, innovation and change. Audiences will benefit from learning what it takes to lead effectively into the future and leave the session with five key insights for turning business into an adventure while inspiring boldness, greatness and resilience in others.
Finding MY Virginity is the title of Caroline Ravenall forthcoming book which reflects her passion for creating future-fit business cultures and ennobling people to live more meaningful, courageous and impactful lives.
Drawing on a strategic sales and leadership background of almost 10 years in Richard Branson’s Virgin Group and 15 years of business, coaching and consulting experience, Caroline Ravenall – Leadership inspires people to unlock their potential and expand possibilities in a world fraught with change and uncertainty. Her experience has seen her work with organisations from Ernst and Young, Mercantile Bank, ABSA Bank, Duke University, GIBS, Old Mutual and Delta Airlines.
An adventurous spirit at heart, Caroline has lived, travelled and worked in many places around the world. She has negotiated multi-million-dollar contracts in London and New York, dived with Whale Sharks off the coast of Mozambique, driven off road in some of the most rugged terrain in Africa, abseiled down mountains, and spent 6 months in rural India at a meditation retreat. Much of her work today is inspired by these experiences which taught her valuable lessons in accessing peak performance states, building resilience, and embracing change.
One of her favourite business adventures was setting up and launching Virgin Atlantic Airways in South Africa in record time. Working with a disruptive brand like Virgin and a maverick boss like Branson taught her than change, ambiguity, uncertainty and adventure are around every corner. It was here that she came to recognise that business, can indeed, be an adventure, that courage and confidence are skills which can be learned, and our toughest challenges are a catalyst for unleashing our hidden genius. It is these lessons that she shares with her clients today.
Caroline Ravenall currently sits on the external Faculty at Duke University and is undertaking a master’s degree in the UK. Her work brings together the latest research in neuroscience, human potential, leadership development and organisational change.
Her programmes and keynotes have demonstrated a marked improvement in leadership effectiveness, team performance and employee well being.
Today Caroline Ravenall uses the lessons learned from the experience together with 15 years of culture change consulting, leadership development and coaching experience to inspire leaders and their teams develop the performance mindset to embrace change, ignite innovation and turn business into an adventure.
