Sho Madjozi is one of South Africa’s most distinctive and celebrated contemporary artists, known for her genre-blending sound, vibrant aesthetic, and unapologetic celebration of African identity. Raised in Shirley Village in Limpopo, she burst onto the national scene after featuring on Gqi by OkmalumkoolKat, quickly establishing herself as a powerful new voice in local music.

While she identifies as a rapper, Sho Madjozi fluidly moves across genres, often delivering rapid-fire flows over Gqom beats. Her breakout single Dumi Hi Phone with PS DJz went viral, earning the number one spot on YFM and charting in the top ten across major national stations including Metro FM. Aside from music, Sho Madjozi was cast as Tsakani on Mzansi Magic Telenovela Isithembiso.

Her stage presence has lit up some of the biggest platforms in the country, including Fill Up FNB Stadium, Afropunk, and Castle Lite Unlocks.
