Masa Kekana is a South African journalist and a highly-acclaimed contributor to the international award-winning news show ‘Carte Blanche’ on M-Net.
She has also been the MC or Programme Director at numerous corporate and other events and as a speaker, she continues to share her learning and insights with diverse audiences across the country. She has also worked at one of the country’s leading news agencies, Eyewitness News, which services four major radio stations namely: Talk Radio 702, Cape Talk, Kfm and 947.
Masa has crisscrossed the country covering stories of national and global importance. She has been featured several times on BBC News in London for some of her headline stories such as Rhodes Must Fall. Johannesburg residents became familiar with her voice not only for her top stories as a reporter on the ground also as a news anchor on 947.
With a Bachelors degree in Political Science and History from the University of the Western Cape, Masa Kekana coverage of the South African political landscape is not only sharpened by her years reporting in the field, but her sound academic was of significant importance when looking into the issues at hand.
