After studying drama at the University of Cape Town Kagiso Lediga ventured into comedy and over the ensuing years set about establishing himself as one of South Africa’s most talented comedians.
He is now lauded amongst the best comedians in the country with ( 9 ) years of extensive experience and an impressive body of work on the local comedy circuit behind him for corporate conferences’ and entertainment
Kagiso Lediga has performed at all the biggest comedy events in South Africa such as the Smirnoff International Comedy Festival ( 22 000 people over 2 weeks) where he won the People’s Choice Award in the company of acclaimed comedians from all over the world, Laugh Out Loud ( 5000 people –Sandton Convention Centre), Comedy Blackout, Kingsize Heavyweight Comedy Jams and so on.
He has performed to corporate crowds all over the country as the MC or in a stand up comedy capacity, a list boasting a variety of companies from various sectors of the economy.
His talents can be further confirmed by the fact that he has performed successfully overseas as well, performing at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival as well as comedy clubs in New York.
Kagiso Lediga ability to adapt his set according to his audiences but leave them in raptures has always been a strong feature of his repertoire wherever he performs.
