Vibrant and vivacious, Cathy Del Mei – Conference Entertainer is an exciting saxophonist with years of experience. From hotel lounges to theatre, and from clubs to corporate functions, Cathy has played for prestigious clients and top selling shows.
Apart from the sax, Cathy is also a great keyboard player, having played cocktail piano in numerous elite hotels such as the Michaelangelo and the Balalaika Hotel.
As a keyboard player and Saxophonist, she has performed in theatre shows such as 60 Something, Beatlemania, The Meatloaf tribute show and Feeling Groovy, gaining critical acclaim for her extrovert performances and outstanding sax solos.

Cathy has also performed in shows with artistes such as P J Powers and Vicky Sampson as well as having spent two years performing and recording with Duncan Faure (Rabbitt, Bay City Rollers, songwriter for Madonna).
Cathy Del Mei spent years performing with top club / corporate band Avalanche.
Avalanche performed at top caliber corporate events and venues such as Sun City, Caesars Casino, Montecasino, Vodaworld, S.A.B., R.M.B., Fancourt and many others.
They also spent 3 months In the Middle East in 1999.
Cathy’s versatility is evident in her ability to team up with dancers, singers and instrumentalists. From laid back to more hi-tech funkiness, a sincere performance is guaranteed.
Cathy Del Mei is high in demand for solo ‘cocktail’ sets…which dressed in beautiful dresses, she will add a touch of class to any function. (Weddings and Birthday Parties included!)
Formal musical qualifications include a 3 year National Diploma in Light Music from Pretoria Technikon, and a Certificate in Basic Sound Engineering (1 year) from Inhouse Audio Training.
